Job Details – Commercial Operation (ComOps)
We’re inviting talents for CompOps position in our organization. This instrumental role will significantly be part of the growth of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related discipline). Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in other fields and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial operations, supply chain, project coordination, or service-based industries. Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
- Experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, marine, mining, construction, or industrial services sectors is an advantage.
- Experience managing end-to-end commercial processes, from RFQ/RFP and tender preparation through order execution, delivery, and invoicing, is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of industrial valves, flow control equipment, and their applications is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping drawings, technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with applicable industry standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, or equivalent is preferred.
- Good understanding of tendering processes, commercial contracts, procurement, supply chain, and logistics operations.
- Strong analytical, coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and project management tools is an advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional languages such as Japanese or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, including extended working hours when required to meet project or customer commitments.
Specific Requirements
- Willing to do work onsite area (onshore & offshore – overseas)
- Preferably maximum of 28 years old
- Preferably having experience or would like to learn no code/ low code apps such as power platform, appsheet, etc.
- Preferably having experience on valve or pump repair and services
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end commercial operations, from customer inquiry (RFQ/RFP), quotation, tender submission, and contract review through project completion.
- Coordinate customer orders for spare parts, equipment, and services, ensuring timely and accurate execution in accordance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimates, pricing, and tender documentation in collaboration with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
- Coordinate procurement activities by working closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.
- Oversee logistics and delivery operations, including transportation, shipping, and coordination with logistics providers to ensure on-time project execution.
- Manage commercial and project documentation, including quotations, contracts, purchase orders, delivery documents, invoices, service reports, and other project records.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments—including Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Finance—to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
- Monitor project progress, identify commercial or operational issues, and coordinate timely resolutions to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare operational and commercial reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, quality standards, and customer requirements while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
